Job Summary:
The Technical Operations Analyst plays a key role in client support and operations delivery projects, interfacing directly with clients and internal technical delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
The incumbent will proactively contact and communicate regularly with clients so as to anticipate clients' needs and to continually meet and exceed clients' expectations.
As a Technical Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for first- and second-level support for clients; regular communication with internal delivery teams; software installations; timely problem diagnosis and resolution, and maintaining healthy client relationships. Your experience and skills in client-facing interactions, technical troubleshooting and problem resolution, ability to work effectively with engineers and product managers, along with your healthcare domain background and excellent communication and decision-making skills will be critical to the success of this role.
Responsibilities:
• First- and second-level support for our various products
• Proactive interaction with clients and various internal engineering teams to drive problems to resolution quickly
• Manage remote software installations and upgrades
• Diagnose, solve and provide root cause analysis for application errors, data problems, and/or network issues
• Document procedures for debugging issues, collecting data, getting system access, and other areas as necessary
• Deploy and support applications on various platforms and environments
• Build and maintain successful client relationships
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in a support role or a similar position, preferably in the healthcare field, and with client interaction
• Experience with ETL Tools, such as Pentaho, Informatica, or others
• Understanding of data integration problems, including validating and cleansing data
• Hands-on experience with SQL and stored procedures
• Recent experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server or DB2
• Administrative experience in SQL Server and/or Oracle
• Familiarity with troubleshooting database issues in SQL Server and/or Oracle
• Able to support multiple projects/technologies simultaneously in a fast paced work environment
• Self-starter, ability to work well independently, excellent problem-solver, strong analytical, troubleshooting and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferences:
• Scripting Language, i.e., Perl, Unix Scripting, Java, etc., is a plus
• Experience with reporting tools, such as Crystal Reports, Business Objects or SQL Server Reporting Tools
• Windows system administrative experience
• Familiarity with troubleshooting IIS and .NET web-based applications
• Familiarity with troubleshooting Apache, Tomcat, JBoss and JAVA based web applications
• Familiarity with Web Service and SOA applications
• Familiarity with troubleshooting network connectivity issues
• Familiarity with Windows and UNIX firewall and network settings
