Title: SQL DBA
Location: Redmond, WA
Long term contract
Assist the ECO Support Desk in providing effective and professional support for the assigned application(s) via regular training sessions and timely creation/regular review of Knowledge Base articles.
Work with the ECO Engineering teams for the assigned application during the in-cycle (bug fixes) and the out-of-cycle (new releases) application changes. Represent Operations requirements and complete deliverables as per the engineering methodology process.
Automate day to day tasks, as needed, to facilitate more efficient processes and reliable operations.
Create, contribute and track to project plans related to engineering work and subsequent release plans for given systems.
Skills/Qualifications
Ability to meet initial screening qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience in service operations
. 4+ years of experience in SQL Server 2005/2008
• 4+ years of experience with IIS Administration and Configuration
• 2+ years of experience in DNS, Firewalls, Authentication, Network Security
• 2+ years of experience in Windows systems administration
• 2+ years of experience in Active Directory/Kerberos/IPSec
• Strong, proven, and broad technical background with a focus on Operational tooling (e.g. monitoring, incident management tools, etc)
• Skilled in IT Operations frameworks: MOF/ITIL/ISO 20000
• Familiar with existing IT Operations Consulting solutions
• Must have a passion for customer service
• Exemplary analytical, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and communication skills
• Infrastructure deployment and data center operations experience
• Experience in production web service operations
• Experience collaborating closely with Dev/Test/PM
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related experience
• Experience in large Windows Server environment
