Position Description:

Experience Level: 7+ year's tech experience with at least 5 yrs Web-systems focused project management. Scrum certification is a plus; this is an Agile Java development environment.


Description:

Acts as liaison between client area, technical organization, and other affected areas by planning, conducting, and directing the development of functionality to be released in the NikePlus Digital initiative. Responsible for producing business requirements. Functions as project manager for the largest and most complex projects. Develops projectplans and schedules, including budgets.  May act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by evaluating current processes and recommending new e-commerce solutions that reduce costs or extend current capabilities.  Works directly with senior management of all organizational areas, and is considered the highest-level functioning expert.

This position is part of an overall application development team working on a complete re-write of the NikePlus.com site, and is inclusive of all mobile, web and electronic manifestations of the product offering. The overall team environment is collaborative and supportive towards providing the best analysis service with consistently high-quality requirements documentation.

In this role, you will:

Act as a liaison between the UI and UX teams responsible for the product roadmap and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the development and testing of the Digital platform.

While this is an Agile environment and Scrum Master activities are part of the role, as appropriate this person will be responsible for producing business requirement artifacts - including Use Cases, Business and Message Rules, Supplemental (Non-Functional) Specifications, and User Interface Design Specifications.

Candidates should be self-starters, able to multi-task, work well under tight deadlines, and be comfortable working with technical and business teams.

Basic Qualifications

Ability to take complex problems and decompose them into well-organized, logical, and detailed descriptions to facilitate problem solving

Proven experience as a leader, with the ability to collaborate effectively with your project team and potentially across a team of Business Analysts focusing on different functional areas for the same project effort

Expertise in the MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Visio, MS Project.

Excellent communication skills, including ability to present effectively to both business and technical audiences at all levels of the organization

Excellent inter-personal and partnering skills to facilitate effective working relationships

Commitment to being part of a team, open to having all work peer-reviewed by the analyst community and working within a diverse environment

Ability to be highly organized and effective within a fast-paced environment
