Role:                Data Analyst

Location:          Austin, TX

Duration:          1year

Minimum 9-10 years of experience needed

 

Minimum Requirements:

·         Experience in the IT Industry.

·         Experience in Systems and Data Analysis.

·         Experience documenting technical and business requirements.

·         Experience in software system development life cycle methodology.

·         Ability to analyze, consolidate, and interpret complex data, procedures and systems.

·         Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines without compromising accuracy or quality.

·         Successful customer experiences in problem resolution using analysis, technical, and people skills, as appropriate.

·         Excellent communication and team-playing skills.

 

Preferred:

·         Knowledge of IT environments in Texas State Government agencies.

·         Knowledge of Texas Health and Human Services programs.

·         Experience at DADS.

·         Familiarity with complete software development life cycle from requirements gathering to design, testing, implementation and configuration management.

·         Ability to interact with a diverse level of staff to exchange and/or extract information.

·         Understanding of: database security issues; data modeling, data structures, data migration/conversion.
