1.Job Title: BSM Tools Implementation & Integration Specialist

    Location: Savannah, GA or Cary, NC

   Duration:6 Months

 

  GC or Citizens only

2. Purpose: 

• 4-6 Yrs IT Experience specializing in Implementation and support of the Enterprise Event Monitoring solution (HP BSM- OMW, OMi, BAC ) enabling robust Event Management across all strategic platforms tools, Databases, Network, Application, Web as well as and Service & Business Impact monitoring.
• -Integration, Troubleshooting and administration of all above products on UNIX, Windows based hosts.

-      Specification and implementation of integrations to other systems management solutions – Hardware, Storage , Network and other 3^rd party element managers

-      Life cycle management for all above mentioned products.

·         To also learn and manage other Enterprise Tools like BPPM, BMC Patrol, BEIM, ADDM ,  Control M AlarmPoint in the environment.

3. Dimensions:

He will necessarily work in Global business hours with ON CALL for NON BUSINESS hours.

4.Principal Accountabilities

·         Must possess Strong working knowledge on Windows and Unix Operating systems

·         Strong scripting and web programming language MRL, PSL, XML, PERL,VB & UNIX Shell Scripting.

·         Knowledge of Oracle/SQL Database will be an added advantage

·         Expert level knowledge in UNIX (Linux, Solaris)

·         Should have strong understanding of SNMP & networking, SNMP MIBs

5.Job Holder Specification

Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education

Essential

·         Hands on experience in developing various integrations using PSL, MRL, shell, XML, perl and VB scripting.

·         Should possess good communication and inter personal skills

Desirable

·         Experience in working as a part of a team involved in the implementation of Enterprise monitoring solutions.

·         Should be a fast learner of various other tools and integrate where possible.

·         Out of the Box Thinker with technical Savoir-faire
