Role

Hyperion HFM/FDM Developer


Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills

Ø Designed multi-currency application to support global transactions and
converted into local currency.
Ø Responsible for handling security to the users and maintained shared
services.
Ø Created users and assigned roles as per the request and approval of
managers.
Ø Involved in design and development of Account, Entity, ICP and other
dimensions in HFM Applications.
Ø Designed the Application for performing analysis by Brand, Customer and
Cost Center.
Ø Created Member Lists for usage in data forms and other data load
activities.
Ø Developed Business Rules in HFM using Visual Basic for calculating and
allocating data.
Ø Restoring database from back when database corrupt, created test
environments.
Ø Extracting, loading the metadata when ever metadata changes occur
Ø Regularly update metadata with new Accounts, Entities and Custom
Dimensions.
Ø Configure Data Entry Forms by using Web Applications
Ø Creating web grid, windows grid and web forms.
Ø Creating Member lists and Rules.
Ø Creation of a Application Profile and Application
Ø Load the actual data on monthly basis.
Ø Designed Reports as per user requirement using Hyperion Reports.
Ø Experience in 11.x version is must.
Ø FDM 11.x experience, VB scripting, Understanding of oracle tables, etc.
Ø Creating the FDM application
Ø Setting up of new application, adaptors.
Ø Copy Production FDM application to Test.
Ø Configuring system settings.
Ø Configuring application settings, integration settings, etc.
Ø Knowledge in Control tables, data load locations, etc.
Ø Creating import formats, mapping tables.
Ø Process flow: import, validate, export and clear & consolidating target
system.
Ø Batch loading of files.
Ø Knowledge about Hierarchies, GL segments and how Hyperion reporting and
various MIS reporting how it works.
Ø Experience in metadata and data validation process.
Ø Should be able to understand the business requirements.
Ø How to run batch jobs and automate entire FDQM process
