•Applicant must have experience with Intersystem's Cache.

Job Title: Web Application Programmer

Job Location : Tallahassee, FL .

Duration: 1 Year

 

Job Description

Must have experience with Intersystem's Cache.

1. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

Required:

Ø Experience with the Health Management System (HMS) or other clinic management and/or electronic health record software.

Ø Experience with the development of web based applications utilizing Intersystem's Cache (CSP and/or Zen).

Ø Knowledge of Agile software development, project management and testing practices.

 

Required:

Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ø Ability to communicate effectively with technical and user staff.

Ø Demonstrated experience with the development of web based applications.

Ø Demonstrated experience with object-oriented techniques.

Ø Demonstrated experience using SQL.

Ø Demonstrated experience using HTML.

Ø Demonstrated experience using JavaScript.

Ø Experience with formal software testing.

Ø Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting.

 

Ø If applicable, ability to report for emergency duty is required as part of your position. Emergencies may occur at any time and create varying degrees of damage, human suffering, injury, death, and property damage or destruction. The Department of Health, along with many other local and state agencies, has responsibilities before, during and/or after emergencies. As a contractor, you are an important part of our emergency responsibilities. In the event of an emergency, unless you are granted a temporary exemption from emergency duty, you may be required to work before, during and/or beyond your normal work hours or days to perform emergency duties including, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man-made or natural.

 

2. Education/Experience

 

Required:

Ø 2 + years demonstrated experience developing web-based applications in Intersystem's Cache, .Net, or Java.

Ø 2+ years demonstrated experience with object-oriented development techniques.

Ø Experience with, Health Management System is highly desirable although not required.
